Svetlogorsk: Northern Switzerland
The former Rauschen is located onhilly coastline surrounded by dense relict pine forest.This is a high-status, aristocratic place where the most expensive residential complexes in the region are being built.
Pros: Silence, tranquility, incredible smell of pine and sea, elite surroundings (federal Amber Hall).
Cons: Sharp descents and ascents (hill), the beach can be narrow due to erosion.
Yantarny: The Bestbeaches of Russia
The town is famous for the purest sand and the widest beach, awarded the Blue Flag for environmental cleanliness.
Pros: Wide sandy beaches with ideal infrastructure, a lagoon with clear water, quiet solitude.
Cons: A little further from the airport (about 40-50 minutes), less developed winter restaurantinfrastructure.
